Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners allege that the Moushuni Gram Panchayat has withhold payment of the work done by the petitioners in terms of the work order issued in their favour. The petitioners filed several representations before the authority concerned but none has been considered.

Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioners for receiving the amount as mentioned in the representation and the supporting bills, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Pradhan, Moushuni Gram Panchayat to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioners in accordance with law and in terms of the work order issued in their favour at the earliest, but positively within a period of five months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

If any amount is found payable, the same shall be disbursed to the petitioners immediately thereafter. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners is directed to forward copy of all documents in support of their claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
