Mukherjee ... for the State The grievance of the petitioner is that despite having made queries under the Right to Information Act, 2005, the respondents have not issued such information to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that merely due to non deposit of a deficit fee of Rs. 4/- by the petitioner, as evident from the communication of the SPIO to the petitioner dated May 17, 2023, the information could not be supplied to the petitioner. Since the sticking point in the present case is merely such deficit, WPA 25652 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the petitioner to deposit the deficit fees of Rs. 4/- with the respondent no. 2, i.e., the SPIO, immediately. Upon such deposit being made, the respondent no. 2 shall reply to the query of the

petitioner within the purview of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

The written instruction filed today in court by learned counsel for the respondents be kept with the record.
