Petitioner is in custody for about two years. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Report is placed on record with regard to the status of the proceeding. From the report it appears 11 out of 17 prosecution witnesses have already been examined. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
