The petitioner is a confirmed Assistant Teacher at Kusumgram Ashalata REJ Girls F.P Primary School, a school under Monteswar-I Circle of Purba Bardahman District Primary School Council.

The petitioner is praying transfer to another school under a different circle of the said Council on the ground that she is a surplus teacher of her present school.

The representation of the petitioner dated September 27, 2024 to the said effect is the pending consideration before the Chairman of the Council, the respondent no. 2 herein.

The said respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner only on the ground that the petitioner is a surplus teacher of her present school and shall dispose of the same in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 26808 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
