AD 43 December 18, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 3934 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Nandakumar P.S. Case No.231 of 2025 dated 16.05.2025 under Sections 351(2)/64(1) of the BNS. And In the matter of:

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the alleged victim had lodged an FIR against the petitioner alleging cheating and forgery. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case due to previous enmity. Learned counsel for the State relies on the statement of the victim recorded before the learned Magistrate and the injury report, which support the prosecution case. He also relies on the statements of witnesses who referred to an earlier attempt by the accused to abduct the victim. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
