The innocuous prayer made in the present writ petition is that the long pending original application of the petitioners before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal be directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

Upon perusal of the certified copy of the orders passed in the O.A. annexed to the present writ petition, we are of the opinion that the original application is pending since long. We also find that by the

order dated July 17, 2025, the next date of the matter has been fixed almost a year after, that is, on May 06, 2026. 3.

Thus, for the ends of justice, WPLRT 193 of 2025 is disposed of by directing the Fourth Bench of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal to dispose of O.A. 3349 of 2023 (LRTT), pending before it, as expeditiously as possible by shifting back the date fixed by the order dated July 17, 2025. It is expected that the entire matter shall be disposed of by the end of February, 2026. 4.

There will be no order as to costs.
