None appears on behalf of the Staterespondents in spite of service. Under such circumstances, this Court appoints Mr. Shamim ul Bari, learned advocate, one of the advocates in the State roll to represent the State, his appointment be regularized and copy of the writ petition be served upon Mr. Bari in course of the day.

The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of Economics (PG) at Kaliyaganj Parbati Sundari High School (HS), District : Uttar Dinajpur.

The petitioner is praying general transfer to a school nearer to her residence at Chinsurah, District: Hooghly on the grounds that the school is far away from her residence and that her only

daughter aged about five years, is suffering from 'Urinary Tract Infection'.

The petitioner was selected in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for recruitment of Assistant Teacher and was appointed on September 15, 2018 in her present school. At the time of counselling in relation to the said selection process, she was given option to choose a school for posting, she opted for her present school. There is nothing on record to suggest that occurrence of subsequent events have affected the exercise of the said option.

The grounds for transfer are not convincing as such, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner for general transfer. WPA 25670 of is accordingly dismissed without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
