1. Affidavit of service is taken on record.
2. Petitioner has aggrieved by the exorbitant electricity bill amount raised by the respondent qua consumer Id 515041915, Meter No. I J 005983.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent authority submits that the grievance of the petitioner can be raised before the Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO) under clause 3.5.1 of the West Bengal Central Electricity Commission notification dated 7th August 2013.
4. It is further submitted that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the GRO, he can prefer an appeal before the Ombudsman.
5. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the GRO in accordance with law.
6. Liberty is granted to him to approach the GRO.
7. It is clarified that in case the petitioner approaches the GRO within 2 weeks from this order, the GRO will consider his grievance on merit as expeditiously as possible.
8. Present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with the above terms.
