Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. By an order dated 06.01.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a condition to furnish two sureties, one of whom should be local. However, the learned trial court is insisting that the local surety must furnish the original title deed of the property. This has prevented the petitioner from getting the benefit of the order granting anticipatory bail. 3.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the State. 4.

If the condition of bail becomes too onerous, the same can be relaxed.

In view of the above and in the interests of justice, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only), with two registered sureties of like amount, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer or the concerned court.

The order granting anticipatory bail is relaxed to the above effect. The other terms and conditions of the order granting anticipatory bail shall remain the same.

However, as much time has elapsed by now, let the petitioner surrender before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within a period of three weeks from date.

CRAN 1 of 2026 is accordingly, disposed of.
