1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved that the election of the respondent no. 7 has not been held, even though the term of the Board of the said Society expired sometime in February 2022.

3. Mr. Sureka, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 5 & 6, informs the Court that the Members' Register has to be updated which is a tedious job and an elaborate process. He seeks approximately eight weeks time to complete the entire process.

4. Mr. Nayak, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 3 & 4, submits that only after the updated list of Members/Register of Members is handed over to the Election Commission, the Commission will take steps to complete the electoral process within a period of three months

5. In view of the afore-stated, the respondent nos. 5 & 6 are directed to ensure that a duly updated List of Members is prepared and handed over to the Commission by 31.01.2026.

6. The respondent nos. 3 & 4 are directed to ensure that the electoral process of the Society being the respondent no. 7 herein, is completed by 30.04.2026 upon following due process of law.

7. With these afore-stated directions, WPA 26508 of 2025 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
