Plot No. 414 of Mouza Madurdaha, South 24 Parganas.
Mr. Chandi Charan De, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents on previous occasion prayed for direction upon the Additional District Magistrate (L.R.), South 24 Parganas to demarcate the land in question. Based on such submission made on behalf of State respondents, by order dated 16th April, 2025 Court
directed additional respondent to demarcate aforesaid plot of land in presence of plot holders and for carrying out such exercise direction was also given to put plot holders on prior notice.
In terms of previous order, report of the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, South 24 Parganas dated 13th June, 2025 has been placed before this Court. It appears from the report that aforesaid plot of land has been demarcated. Said report dated 13th June, 2025 along with Demarcation Report are taken on record. Copy of same is made over to learned advocate representing the petitioners.
In view of exercise made by State respondents demarcating the land in question, it appears that no further order need be passed in this writ petition. Writ petition stands disposed of.
However, this order shall not preclude interested parties to take steps in accordance with law questioning Demarcation Report.
Connected application, if pending, is also disposed of.
Urgent phosotat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
