Considering the nature of the prayers and the long pendency of this case, the record is taken up for its disposal on the basis of materials available on record. It prima facie appears from the record that the petitioner is the owner of the land.

Despite that being the position and after expiry of 19 years, it seems to this Court that the purpose of filing this writ petition has either been resolved or the

petitioner has abandoned his prayers due to passage of time.

7. Accordingly, W.P.A. 27302 of 2006 is, thus, disposed of without any order as to costs.

8. Interim order, if any, shall stand vacated. 9.
