Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition being aggrieved by the non-grant of electricity connection.

It is the case of the petitioner that he had applied for the electricity connection for his submersible pump installed for carrying out agricultural activities. He further states that he had deposited the quotation amount on 04.06.2024. Despite the same the respondent has failed to grant electricity connection to the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the respondent on instruction submits that they will process petitioner's application for grant of electricity connection within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order.

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondent this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent authority to process petitioner's application for grant of electricity connection within a period of four weeks from the date of server copy of this order subject to the petitioner complying with all the necessary formalities. 5.

With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
