This revisional application has been filed for expeditious disposal of the Matrimonial Suit No. 89 of 2012 pending in the court of the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 2nd Court, Barasat.

It is submitted that the application for maintenance pendente lite has been disposed of and the petitioner, who is the husband, has been continuously paying the maintenance as directed by the learned court below.

Having regard to such submission and also the stage of the suit where cross-examination is going on, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court below to dispose of the suit expeditiously within a period of six months from the next date fixed.

This order will be operative from the date the husband pays the maintenance pendente lite as directed by the learned court below without any

default. In case of default, the opposite party/wife will be at liberty to take appropriate steps in the learned court below.

This court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the petitioner and the learned court below will be free to decide the issues independently and in accordance with law.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application along with the server copy of this order upon the opposite party immediately. The revisional application is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible subject to compliance of all usual formalities.
