In compliance with the direction dated November 13, 2024, Mr. Vaisya, learned advocate for the DPSC, 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no. 5 herein files a report dated November 26, 2024 of the Chairman of the said Council, let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that the petitioner is a surplus confirmed teacher in the school where she is now working.

The representation of the petitioner for general transfer, is pending consideration before the Sub-Inspector of Schools(P.E.), 24-Parganas (South), the respondent no. 7 herein. The said representation dated August 12, 2024 is appearing at 'page 45' of the writ petition.

The respondent no.7, on the said representation shall prepare a report and shall

forward it along with the said representation to the Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no. 6 herein expeditiously.

The respondent no. 6, upon receipt of the said report, shall consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of it, endeavour, however shall be made to place the petitioner in a school near to her residence. WPA 26826 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
