Petitioner complains that although criminal cases have been filed and charge sheet has been submitted, but the petitioner and his parents cannot peacefully reside at their residence, as they are being threatened, disturbed, harassed at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the state has already submitted a report. The report is enclosed with the charge sheet submitted in connection with Jangipara Police Station Case No. 200/2022 dated 12.10.2022 wherein seven of the accused persons have been charge sheeted. In case the petitioner lodges any complaint with the Officer-in-Charge, Jangipara Police Station in respect of any of the accused

persons, the Officer-in-Charge would be at liberty to direct the concerned person to furnish a bond, thereby imposing condition that the said person named in the charge sheet who is disturbing inspite of the criminal case pending, would attend the police station and meet with an officer deputed by the Officer-in-Charge of Jangipara Police Station once in a week for a period of three months. The Officer-inCharge would also, if required, exercise the powers vested in him by way of taking out appropriate application for cancellation of bail before the jurisdictional court where the criminal case being Jangipara Police Station Case No. 200/2022 is pending.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 26878 of 2024 is disposed of.
