Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu ... ...For the State Petitioner stands implicated in an incident of abduction and rape of a minor.

The minor recorded her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC, where she implicates the petitioner in such incident. The minor was examined medically. She claimed in her statement that she was pregnant.

The medical examination report tends to corroborate such claim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Thus, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 4989 of 2023 is dismissed.
