Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conference. The application being CRAN 2 of 2020 is disposed of. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he is a member of the Gram Panchayet and is unable to attend the meetings of the Gram Panchayet due to conditions imposed upon him. Learned lawyer for the State opposes such prayer. We have considered the materials on record.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid submission relating to participation of the petitioner in Panchayet activities, we modify the conditions of bail imposed upon him and direct that the petitioner may be permitted to enter the jurisdiction of Kaliachak Police Station not only for the purpose of investigation and/or attending Court proceeding but also attending meetings of the Gram Panchayet with prior intimation to the Officierin-Charge of Kaliachack Police Station.

Other conditions of bail imposed upon the petitioner shall continue.
