Probodh Kumar Panda and Anr.
Versus
The State of West Bengal and Anr.
Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Mr. Sandip Chakraborty.
...for the State.
Mr. Sandip Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report before this Court, which has been filed by the Officer-in-Charge of Ramnagar Police Station. Report reflects that the present petitioners were acquitted from the case. The report also reflects that on or about 18.03.2014, the application under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for mutual divorce was allowed by the learned Additional District Judge, Contai.
Let the report be kept with the record.
Having regard to the report so submitted and the stage at which the petitioners approached this Court, I am of the view that the revisional application has lost its force. The changed circumstances so recorded in the police report submitted today do not warrant any interference.
As such, CRR 3550 of 2012 is dismissed.
Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
