Mr. Tanweer J. Mandal, learned advocate for the District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhaman submits that he has the soft copy of the report of his client, which was directed to be prepared vide order dated November 21, 2024; it appears from the said report that the petitioner is a surplus teacher of Barakalmi F.P. School, a school under Monteswar-II Circle under the said Council.

The ground on which the petitioner has applied for Intra-District general transfer is not at all convincing; however, his representation for such transfer can be considered as he is a surplus teacher.

The Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no. 7 herein is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 26876 of 2024 is disposed with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted.
