The only prayer of the petitioner is for a direction on the respondent no.2 being the Director, ESI (MB) Scheme to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10th November, 2022.

By the representation, the petitioner seeks an extension order of six months to an existing contract between the petitioner and the ESI Hospital, Budge Budge. A similar order was passed in W.P.A.25745 of 2022 by giving similar relief to the petitioner.

W.P.A.26553 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of with the above directions to the respondent no.2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 10th November, 2022 by passing a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from date. The petitioner and other interested parties shall be heard and a copy of the said order shall be made available to the petitioner within a week from the date on which such order is passed.
