Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The said report reflects that the genesis of the dispute arose from a business relationship relating to supply of goods. The prayers in the writ petition are for directions for registration of FIR and investigation to be conducted not only in the State of West Bengal but also in the State of Assam and Gujarat.

Having considered the prayers so advanced and the factum of a business dispute having surfaced, I am of the opinion that petitioner be well advised to take steps before the learned Magistrate or the civil court for settlement of accounts. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26890 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
