Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that upon submission of charge sheet in GR Case No.2774 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat, North 24 Parganas, the learned Magistrate by an order passed on 5th June, 2023 directed issuance of warrant of arrest against the petitioner and others.

The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate within a fortnight from date.

If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate within the said time frame and files an application for bail the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate shall deal with it in accordance with law.

The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner vide order passed on 5th June, 2023 be stayed till 6th December, 2024.

In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time frame, the learned Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

The revisional application being CRR 4769 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly uploaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
