The petitioner is a primary school teacher. Currently, he is under suspension. He has already received subsistence allowance for the first three months of suspension. He seeks enhancement of subsistence allowance.

Learned advocate representing the District Primary School Council, Purba Burdwan submits that the petitioner was intimated about submission of the relevant documents especially the non-

employment/engagement certificate vide communication dated 10th May, 2024.

The petitioner is directed to submit a selfdeclaration in the office of the Sub-Inspector of Schools, Kalna, North Circle declaring that he is not working for gain or engaged in any institution/business/profession or the like.

On receipt of the certificate from the petitioner, the Sub-Inspector of Schools, Kalna, North Circle shall take steps for releasing the subsistence allowance in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest, but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the said certificate. If further document is wanting from the petitioner, the same shall be intimated to him immediately.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
