The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-1, East, Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate has submitted his report dated 16.01.2025 which reflects regarding the steps taken by the Investigating Agency in spite of the constraints faced by them. Prima facie, it also appears that there was a dispute which has surfaced as the deceased has transferred money to the accused persons which is the primary cause for the unfortunate incident. Police authorities are investigating in respect of the transfer of the amount which had taken place.

Be that as it may, since the present is a case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, the Superior Officer is already in seisin of the investigation who will monitor so that no further time

is wasted by the Investigating Officer for submitting his report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure obviously after collection of materials. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 26914 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
