The material disclosed before us shows that there is no intervening or subsequent event from the last rejection dated 14.07.2023.

The plea of the petitioner being in custody for about a year and trial not having commenced is not a subsequent event since only three months have passed since the last order of rejection. We are in any event informed that the next date fixed for trial is 17th November, 2023.

We are hence not inclined to allow the prayer for bail. CRM (NDPS) 1765 of 2023 is accordingly rejected in terms of the above.
