The petitioner complains that the Parulia Coastal Police Station has not taken any steps in respect of a complaint against the private respondent of assault, wrongful confinement of the petitioner, his son, daughter-in-law, wife and grandson.

There are other civil disputes, which are pending in a Civil Court.

This Court is of the view that the Parulia Coastal Police Station should have registered FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated November 3, 2021.

Be that as it may, in the event of any further complaint against the private respondent, the Parulia Coastal Police Station shall

immediately register FIR and take steps in accordance with law.

The police shall also ensure that the petitioner's family is not, in any way, disturbed by the private respondent.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
