Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits he is in custody for more than four months. It is also submitted that there is no legally admissible evidence connecting the petitioner with the murder.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Witnesses state petitioner had called the victim girl. Thereafter she had been murdered. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and as trial is in progress, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
