Act and adding Section 14 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 16.03.2025 in connection with the present case and since then, he is in custody; charge-sheet has already been submitted before the learned Trial Court, but till date, charges have not been framed. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that charges would be framed on 10.12.2025.

Having considered that the petitioner is in custody for more than eight and a half months and considering the stage of the case, I direct the petitioner to be released on bail by the learned Special Court after the stage of consideration of charges is over.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record.

With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (R) 152 of 2025, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
