The petitioner complains of inconvenience due to affixation of electricity poles in front of his house. The petitioner says to have made representation to the respondents, but the same remains unresolved. Under the West Bengal Works Licensees Rules, 2006 if the petitioner is aggrieved by any work of the licensee, the petitioner has to ventilate his grievances before the concerned District Magistrate.

The petitioner is permitted to make a representation before the concerned District Magistrate within 23rd December, 2020. In the event such representation is made, the concerned District Magistrate shall, within two months from the date of the representation, dispose of the same by giving hearing to the parties. The concerned District Magistrate shall be free to decide on the mode of

hearing, but shall see that the principles of natural justice are adhered to.

Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. The same is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.

Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
