Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent of the charges and has been implicated on the basis of statement of co accused. Police authorities have forcefully recovered certain contraband from a kitchen and foisted a case upon the petitioner. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are CDRs and money trail involved in which the complicity of the present petitioner surfaces. There is statement of the landlord also in respect of the place of seizure. Having considered the materials appearing against the present petitioner and the fact that witness action is yet to commence, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for acceding to

the prayers advanced by the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.

Thus, CRM(NDPS)1499 of 2025 is dismissed.
