Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated for alleged recovery of 355 grams of brown sugar and is in custody for about 1 year 4 months. Petitioner prays for bail on any stringent conditions as charges have already been framed.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is thickly connected with the offence.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am of the view that at this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner cannot be accepted. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the

evidence of the seizure list witnesses are over. Learned trial court would give priority for examination of the seizure list witnesses. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS)1500 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
