Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. Apparently, in response to an advertisement uploaded on the internet, a buyer approached the de facto complainant for buying his motor vehicle. The buyer was suspicious with regard to the demand draft. The demand draft was found to be fake. A police complaint was lodged. The police are still investigating the matter. There are materials in the case diary suggesting the involvement of the petitioner in the incident as the mastermind. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5665 of 2022 is dismissed.
