The petitioner participated in the 2nd SLST for recruitment in respect of classes IX & X and XI & XII. She alleges that she was unable to fill up the details of her prior teaching experience in the application form in respect of classes IX & X. She, however, was able to fill up her details of prior teaching experience in respect of the application meant for classes XI & XII.

A representation dated September 20, 2025 seeking permission to update the details of her prior teaching experience was made to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. Prayer has been made to direct the Commission to consider the same.

Such submission and prayer is vehemently

opposed by the Commission. It has been submitted that result of the written examination for recruitment in classes IX & X is to be declared today. At this stage, there is no scope for consideration of the petitioner's representation. 4.

Upon hearing the parties and on perusal of the materials placed before this Court, it appears that the petitioner herself admitted in her representation dated 20th September, 2025 that during filling up of the SLST form in respect of classes IX & X, she missed to update her prior teaching experience. The Commission permitted the candidates to edit their forms in the month of August 2025. It appears that the petitioner missed that opportunity also.

It seems that the petitioner was not careful at the time of filling up of the application form and also failed to keep track of the notices published by the Commission in respect of the subject recruitment process.

At this stage, immediately on the eve of declaration of the result, the prayer of the petitioner for awarding marks on account of prior teaching experience cannot be allowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. 8.
