We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses show petitioner was last seen with the victim prior to the incident. He was also seen hurriedly leaving the place of occurrence. Weapon of offence has also been recovered from his possession. Date has been fixed for consideration of charge.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
