The contents in the writ petition reflects that there is a dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents and it has been alleged that the petitioners were abused, assaulted by the private respondents.

I have considered the nature of the accusations made by the petitioners against the private respondents.

In view of the information submitted before the police authorities and the grievance that the police authorities have not acted upon the same, I

direct that the petitioners would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional criminal court under section 175(3)/223 of the BNSS. In the meantime, police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of peace takes place.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 26962 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
