Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears that the investigation is continuing and necessary steps are being taken by the Investigating officer to unearth the truth. The Investigating officer is directed to conduct the investigation in a fair, impartial and unbiased manner and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law. The investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Division, Kolkata who shall ensure that every aspect of the complaint is looked into and necessary steps taken to arrive at a logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
