The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to grant necessary permission to hold the annual religious programme commencing from November 23, 2025 to December 3, 2025 upon compliance of all formalities.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents/State has handed over the order dated November 19, 2025 wherein the SubDivisional Officer, Bardhaman Sadar (North), Purba Bardhaman has granted permission to the petitioner with effect from November 23, 2025 to December 3, 2025.

3. As the authorities are already granted permission to the petitioner nothing remains in the present writ application.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

5. The order dated November 19, 2025 be kept with the record.

6. Though the authorities are granted permission to the petitioner but the local police authorities are directed to see the law and order should be maintained in the said locality.

7. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
