1. Petitioner renews the prayer for grant of bail.

2. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners are in custody in excess of two years. Charges are yet to be framed. Therefore, the trial is unlikely to end any time soon.

3. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that, charges could not be framed in view of the absconsion of one of the co-accuseds. He submits that, the date before the jurisdictional Court is February 24, 2025 for the purpose of consideration of charges.

4. Materials in the case diary implicate the petitioners in dealing with fake foreign currency.

5. Learned jurisdictional Court is requested to frame the charges as expeditiously as possible and not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence in which the petitioners are involved in as also the period of custody that the petitioners plead for their release, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

8. CRM (DB) 3790 of 2024 is dismissed.
