Affidavit of service is taken on record.

The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition, being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not disconnecting the electricity connection granted in the name of the petitioner having consumer ID No. 212117087 despite several requests.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent authority is ready and willing to consider the petitioner's application for disconnection of the said electricity connection within a period of two weeks.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent which is WBSEDCL authority, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent authority to consider and decide the petitioner's application for disconnection of electricity connection within a period of two weeks from the date of

this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all interested parties. 5.

Needless to mention that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said speaking order, he shall be at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. 6.

With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order be given to the appearing parties upon compliance with usual formalities.
