Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record.

Prosecution witnesses have identified the petitioner as one of the dacoits. Finger prints of the petitioner have matched with those collected from the place of occurrence. Trial has substantially progressed. Eight witnesses have already been examined.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
