The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Paschim Shantigachhi GSF Primary School, a school under the D.P.S.C., South 24 Parganas, the respondent no. 5 herein.

The petitioner is praying for a general transfer on the ground of distance and is a surplus teacher of her school and also completed more than 5 years of service.

The representation of the petitioner to that effect, is pending consideration before the S.I. of Schools, Gosapa Circle, DPSC, South 24 Parganas, the respondent no.7 herein. The said representation dated September 16, 2024 forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure 'P-4'. The respondent no.7 is directed to forward the transfer application to the Chairman, DPSC,

South 24 Parganas who shall consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law within 10 weeks from the date of communication of this order and pass necessary orders.

The Writ petition being WPA 27033 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
