On the allegations made in the contempt application, it appears that the police did not act in accordance with the order dated January 10, 2020 passed in W.P. 24330(W) of 2019, despite the petitioners having deposited police help costs as per the intimation given by the police authorities.

Hence, the petitioners shall serve copies of the contempt application on the alleged contemnors indicating that the matter shall next be enlisted on March 10, 2022.

Affidavit-in-opposition, if any, shall be filed by March 3, 2022. Reply thereto, if any, shall be filed on the next returnable date.
