The last bail application filed by the petitioner was turned down on 20th January, 2023.

After hearing the parties and considering the materials on record, we do not notice any change in circumstances between the last rejection and till date. The charges have been framed. Two dates for trial were fixed. The first of which was on October, 2023 and the next date is on 12th December, 2023.

Considering the recovery of commercial quantity of seven liter of codeine mixture, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The bail application is, accordingly, rejected.

However, the trial which has commenced shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible and the petitioner shall be entitled to apply for bail, if there is any change in situation or there is delay in holding the trial for reasons not attributable to the petitioner.
