1. This is a public interest litigation alleging that a project is being illegally implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department on a land which is classified as a government land vested with the West Bengal District Board.

2. Though such is the prayer in the representation dated 17.09.2024, the petitioner alleges that there is no inter-departmental land transfer from the West Bengal District Board to the Public Health Engineering Department.

3. So far as this is concerned, the petitioner can hardly be stated to be aggrieved. In any event these are all official procedure which is complied and even if it is not complied, post facto approval can be obtained and more importantly the land is to be used for the purpose

of construction of a water project to provide water supply to all the residence of the area.

4. Therefore, we find no ground to entertain this public interest writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
