1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for more than a year. It is further submitted petitioner has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits bail prayer of co-accused viz. Amiya Upaddhyay was rejected in November, 2023.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner has been identified in Test Identification Parade. Stolen cash was also recovered from his possession. In view of the incriminating materials on record and the daring dacoity committed by the petitioner and coaccused under the guise of being police personnel, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
