1. Affidavit of service filed today be kept on record.

2. The innocuous prayer of the writ petitioners is that the original application filed by the writ petitioners before the Tribunal has been kept pending for an inordinately long period. We find from

the last order of the Tribunal dated June 12, 2025 that the matter has been fixed next for hearing on February 27, 2026.

3. Accordingly, we dispose of WPLRT 197 of 2025 by directing the First Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, to positively take up the hearing of the matter on the next date fixed i.e. on February 27, 2026 and dispose of OA No. 2941 of 2017 (LRTT) as expeditiously thereafter as possible, preferably within two months thereafter.

4. There will be no order as to costs.

5. The parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.) I agree.
