It appears therefrom that the Special Officer (Building), KMC passed order on May 26, 2025 under Section 400(1) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 permitting retention of a wall.

The applicants are aggrieved by the said order. 4.

The said order is an appealable one and it will be open for the applicants to approach the appellate forum to challenge the same in accordance with law. 5.

The Court sitting in contempt jurisdiction is not the competent forum to adjudicate the legality and validity of the order passed by the Special Officer, (Building) under Section 400(1) of the KMC Act, 1980. 6.

The contempt application stands disposed of.
