Learned advocate for the petitioner is present. I find that this revisional application was admitted in the year 2008, however, the order dated 24.10.2008 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court does not reflect any interim order regarding the proceedings pending before the learned Magistrate.

Mr. Rudradipta Nandy, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State and resists the contentions advanced by the petitioner in this revisional application. Having regard to the passage of time, which has elapsed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that no purpose would be served by keeping the proceedings pending. I grant liberty to the petitioner to take up the points canvassed in this revisional application at the appropriate stage of the proceedings before the learned trial court, if the proceedings are still pending.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4033 of 2008 is disposed of. All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
