1. This application has been moved for passing the appropriate orders in terms of the compromise arrived in between the parties and for quashing the proceeding in Sessions Case No. 403 of 2024 in connection with G.R. Case No. 31 of 2022 under Sections 498A/325/506/307/406 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track - II at Barasat.

2. Mr. Indrajit Banerjea @ Iban/husband and Ms. Kamalika Banerjee/wife are present before the Court. Both parties stated that they have settled the matter amicably without any fear, force and coercion. Both parties now started living together

along with their children and both undertakes to follow the terms and conditions.

3. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

4. Learned counsel for the State has filed the report of Ms. Tanusree Das, Sub Inspector of Police. Ms. Tanusree Das has duly identified both the parties. Let the report be taken on record.

5. I.O. has recorded the statement of the parties wherein they stated about the voluntary settlement.

6. This is a case arising out of a matrimonial suit and since both parties amicably settled there will be no purpose for continuing the trial further.

7. In this circumstances affidavits filed by the parties are taken on record.

8. In the facts and circumstances of this case this petition and connected application are allowed and all the proceeding arising out of Sessions Case No. 403 of 2024 in connection with G.R.

Case No. 31 of 2022 under Sections 498A/325/506/307/406 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track - II at Barasat are quashed.

9. The parties directed to hold by their settlement.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
